Great location. Great breakfast. This is a high volume operation hostel with so many guests running through it everyday. Centrally located with a short walk to major attractions. No hassle and no nickel picking as most hostels in Europe do.

Generator Berlin Alexanderplatz has a bar on the ground floor where it’s easy to meet new people and socialize — perfect for solo travelers! The beds are comfortable and come with individual charging outlets. Each bed also has a locker, but you’ll need to bring your own padlock to keep your belongings secure. Since you’ll be sharing a room with strangers, it’s important to be open to different habits — but that’s also part of the charm, and you might even make great friends along the way!

A very modern international youth hostel (in the hostel personally I could mostly hear only English, even not German language). It is located in the very center of the city, within walking distance of grocery shops and tram stops. • on the ground floor, the Wi-Fi was excellent; • there were also a recreation area, billiards, a bar, and a food menu option. • many sockets and various lighting options in the room; • excellent beds and comfortable pillows, but they looked like no one had replaced them after other visitors. • cool soap dispensers.

The location is fantastic with walking distance to Alexander Platz, Berliner Dom and TV tower. The staff are super friendly and will guide you if you have any questions and breakfast is apt with mix of breads & Cornflakes. In a nutshell, value for money

-Soundproof walls and doors (the most important thing in hostels); -Very clean; -Socket next to the pillow; -Decent size of the room, comfy bed, clean bathroom, ventilation in bathroom. -Great location (but bring ear plugs because the street in front is busy and loud).

Almost everything was good. I've been to other hostels before and they were so bad to be honest. This one was beyond my expectations, room was new and super clean. I already knew the area where Generator is placed in berlin, so the position is definitely really good. I suggest to put a soap dispenser in the shower too! And not only in the bathroom sink :)

Great location for getting around. This was my first time in Berlin and felt very easy to go about and see the main sights. It's not a 'pretty' area but convenient and felt safe. The room was clean and all the girls were very quiet and respectful. The bed was comfortable enough and felt private as your head was covered. I was going to bed early/waking up early and basically never crossed paths with anyone as they were out or asleep. The breakfast was simple (muesli/yogurt/fruit/toast/bread/ham/cheese) but very convenient as there isn't much around the hostel other than sub-par cafes.

great lively mood with a great lounge, to socialize, get a drink and do some bar sports. This is a great alternative to getting from the street and locking yourself in the room

Close to Alexanderplatz - flixbus bus stop 10/10 Close to Alexanderplatz U-Bahn - comfortable traveling all around Berlin 10/10 Close to shopping malls 10/10 Employees were friendly , helpful , kind and non-stop open for us for anything to ask 100/10 Storage room 100/10 - literally saved me Different social room - different energy 10/10 Plugs all around ground floor for charging 10/10 Can't wait for future K-pop concerts in Berlin and staying here in Generator 🎶

The location is very valuable, near to Alexander and to airport, as well as to a big supermarket and the historic landmarks. There are also various restaurant nearby. The room is very spacious. The material of the bed is very good, even better than a 4 stars hotel. Shower is no problem. The floor is pretty clean. And the staffs are very hospitable. There is locker for storage.
