Generator Berlin Alexanderplatz

Clean, close to Alexzander Plaza yet far away enough to be quiet at night. Friendly staff.

I absolutely loved everything. I'd like to start with the entrance, where on the ground floor there's a bar, billiards, and a generally cozy place to hang out with friends. We stayed in a room with four people. The only thing I didn't like was the second room: all the water kept spilling out after taking a shower, and the entire bathroom was covered in water afterwards. The hotel's location is also very good, right in the city center.

I was really happy with the location and price for a one night stay during my trip through Europe. The hotel has easy access to the city center and the best shopping areas, all within walking distance of nearby metro stations, restaurants and shopping malls. There are plenty of fun activities for visitors, including a large hangout area with a pool table and a sand table. In the basement, there is another big activity room with more pool tables and other games. Every bed has a dedicated locker, you just need to bring your own padlock. I believe there was a small issue with the toilet, as i noticed working on the issue and managed to fix it very quickly, which I appreciated.

Bedding was good for a hostel, I appreciated the separate shower and toilet rooms for a shared dorm. The common spaces seemed nice, I didn’t use it much. Fairly short walk to Alexanderplatz.

The two girls that i talked to were kind and helpful. I had an accident during my trip and they provide me with first aid. The beds in the room were comfy and the bathroom seems cleaned. Everything is walkable around.
